Aquí os dejamos el enlace actualizado a 18 de marzo 2021 del Ministerio de Sanidad, acerca de las restricciones antes de entrar al país y una vez que estemos en Islandia.

El gobierno islandés se prepara para aliviar las restricciones de viaje a partir del 1 de mayo de 2021 si la situación epidemiológica internacional lo permite.

Islandia está actualmente abierta a visitantes de los estados del EEE / EFTA, así como a ciudadanos del Reino Unido, Andorra, Mónaco, San Marino y el Vaticano. 

Deben llevar una PCR negativa realizada en las últimas 72 horas y al llegar al aeropuerto, los visitantes deben someterse a dos exámenes de COVID-19 y a una cuarentena durante 5 días entre pruebas. (Precio aproximado de las dos PCR, €75.-) 

Exenciones de las normas de cuarentena y control fronterizo
- Aquellos que han confirmado mediante PCR o prueba de anticuerpos que han tenido previamente una infección por COVID-19. Ath. una prueba de PCR positiva debe tener al menos 14 días de antigüedad.
- Aquellos que tengan un certificado válido de vacunación completa con una vacuna COVID-19 aprobada.

Todos los visitantes deben registrarse previamente y se les recomienda encarecidamente que descarguen y utilicen la aplicación COVID-19 Rakning C-19.

 

ISLANDIA

Travel to and from Iceland  (actualizado 24 de marzo 2021)

Certificates must meet the following conditions:

Certificates must be in Icelandic, Danish, Norwegian, Swedish or English
First name and last name (equivalent to travel document)
date of birth
When sampling took place (date)
Where the sampling took place (country / city / address)
Name of laboratory / issuer of certificate
Date of certificate
Telephone number of the person responsible for issuing the certificate or laboratory
Type of test (PRC test or antibody test with ELISA test **)
Test result (PCR test positive for SARS-CoV-2 or antibodies present)

Important! Certificate of vaccination against COVID-19 or confirmation of previous COVID-19 infection can not exempt individuals from the current travel restrictions. These certificates can only exempt individuals who are already authorised to travel to Iceland from quarantine and testing requirements. Third country citizens who have had full vaccination against COVID-19 or have a confirmed previous COVID-19 infection can therefore still not travel to Iceland unless they can present documents upon arrival to prove to be exempt from the current travel restrictions.
Before departure
Travel restrictions The Icelandic border is open to residents and citizens of the EEA and Switzerland, but Iceland follows the travel restrictions on the external borders of the Schengen area, which are currently in force. Pre- registration Pre- registration for arrival in Iceland . All passengers must complete the registration form, follow the infection control rules and be encouraged to download the script, Tracking C-19. Pre-registration is not a travel authorization.

Border screening and quarantine
The first screening is at the border, after which the arriving passengers must be quarantined for 5-6 days according to the instructions on quarantine at home or the instructions on quarantining for people visiting Iceland .

People traveling to Iceland, including family members and friends, are not allowed. Those arriving in the country must take an airport bus, taxi, rental car or a private car that has been taken to the airport.

From the 1st of December. is temporary border sampling , or until 31 January 2021. It is important to read the instructions for the screening process, ie. what happens after arrival in the country .
